Gash
wow, that's a good move for him Is it though? He needs to go somewhere that he will play everyweek (doubtful at Chelsea) im sure other clubs would have wanted him in the Premiership who could play him week in week out. Chelsea certainly won't be, maybe they plan on loaning him out, could see him at a club like Everton tbh where he would get plenty of games at a good level. Imagine him walking in the dressing room and being a higher earner than the likes of Arteta, Jags & Cahill? Or going somewhere like Villa and pulling in more than Young or Petrov? Jumped up little twat.

Jumped up little t***. If being an t*** (Such a rubbish word) makes you 60-70 thousand pounds per week, then most people would do it. Bottom line is that if there is someone out there willing to pay him that much, than he is worth it.
Pilko
I think it's down to the fact he's trying to bleed the club dry, and thinks he's worthy of similar wages to England regulars like Upson, Heskey, Defoe. That's what makes him a twat.

Guest Stephen927
What exactly has Daniel Sturridge done to think he deserves that much a week?
toontownman
Suprised by the sturridge chelsea move, granted he is tipped for big things, but like some people have mentioned he will barley get a game there, will be in a worse position than he was at Man City. The upside is, we might be able to get him on loan for our second attempt at getting back the premiership in 2010/11.
Segun Oluwaniyi
He'll play a fair bit at Chelsea I think. As much as a 19 year old at a club of Chelsea's stature could expect anyway. I imagine he'll be a backup for both the wing and forward positions.

In terms of attendances and stadium, surely it's a step up for him...in everything else mind,he should attempt digging a black hole in his garden. Ronaldo
Daniel Sturridge to Chelsea essentially moving from one team where he wont play regularly to another - wise. he's learning from the best over there though, and I know which manager i'd rather play under
Ishmael
Nah he's not 'play[ing]', more like if you're not going to play might as well double your money strategy. Game time almost essential at his career stage - well obviously I mean money.
Ronaldo
well, money plays a big part, but he'll develop a lot better at Chelsea imo
