Im gonna side up with KD on the whole Bent saga, he was not properly used over at Spurs at all.

About every Spurs fan i know really liked him and felt he was misunderstood by the coaches over there.

Out of interest are there many Spurs fans in Norway? Infact what English teams are popular over there forgetting the obvious ones.

"The manager is buying some really talented players - young and ambitious..."

Delph, sure, but Beye? Dunne?

My wife is Villa so I'll admit I've got a bee in my bonnet here, but every time she talks about their young, English side I work out the average age. In the last game:

Villa - 26.5 (6 English), Man City - 26.5 (5 English), Newcastle - 23.4 (6 English), Spurs - 24.5 (5 English).

Bit sad, but it's become a cliche to say they're young and English.

Looks like Chygrynsky is a done deal and will be closed after today's game.

He should play 45 minutes for each side tonight.

You mean in the officially sanctioned Uefa Super Cup? Theres no hope of him playing for both, not feasable.

Spurs close to signing £16m Brazil star Sandro

28.08.09

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is understood to be close to concluding a deal for Internacional midfielder Sandro.

Spurs had a bid of around £14million rejected but they haven't given up and Levy has been in Brazil for several days in a bid to personally seal the move before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.

Manager Harry Redknapp is keen to sign another strong defensive player to line up alongside Wilson Palacios and Sandro is now their first choice after Toulouse demanded £25m for Moussa Sissoko.

Internacional are asking for as much as £26m but Spurs are still hopeful they can get him for around £16m.

The deal is complicated because 30 per cent of his rights are owned by investors and Sandro may struggle to get a work permit as he has not yet played for Brazil, although he was called into their World Cup squad this week. Spurs are pressing on with the deal and there is still a possibility Jermaine Jenas will be sold to Aston Villa to fund the move.

Standard Sport understands they have already rejected one offer from Martin O' Neill's side because it was too low, but they expect them to come back.

One player who appears to have a future at Spurs is David Bentley. Villa want the midfielder but Redknapp feels he can provide plenty of assists for Peter Crouch, like he did for the striker's goal in Wednesday's 5-1 win at Doncaster.

After that video I can only imagine Levy offering £2.5m first.

That was an absolute class video btw. Probably one of the funniest things i've seen in a long time (the bit with Ledley especially).

Surely a work permit would be pretty much impossible to get then?

Not for Spurs it isnt. We should bow down to the lord and give thanks everyday for giving us the gift that is Tottenham: Source of all that is wonderful and joyous in this sordid shitty life.

BRING ON THOSE DIRTY BILANS NOW ON SATURDAY, MERDA, MEEEERDAAAAAA!

Cheeky double chin on him there, be on the salad's before the pizza's Mattis ;)

Is he set to play at the San Siro this weekend? His creativity could be just what you need.

If he's fit to play he will play, and he could be just what this club needs as we have to many tanks on the midfield.

Im really glad this came through, perfect signing!

And he can eat as many pizzas as possible if he just scores and create  O0

:weep:
