juniatmoko
If you look at the statistics Modric has been more active, but I guess it is not fair to compare a left winger to a playmaker: Modric: Goals 1 Tackles won 4 Tackles lost 2 Total shots 3 Shots on target 2 Att. created 7 Total passes 156 Accurate passes 123 Accurate passes 78,8% Arda Goals 2 Tackles won 9 Tackles lost 1 Total shots 3 Shots on target 2 Att. created 6 Total passes 104 Accurate passes 86 Accurate passes 82,6% i think this statistic for all games they play right? i thought yesterday arda very average... but it seems... i see it too he's been man mark with 3 croats all the time in the game

gdm
So they are going to pay millions for a player that has go in the army when he goes back to Turkey? http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/newcastle/article4167051.ece yeah thats only half the story, if he times it right, he can pass the cut off point and therefor only have to do 21 days training. in fact it even tells you in that article A spokesman for Fenerbahce confirmed last night Emre would undertake 21 days of military training once Turkey’s participation at Euro 2008 comes to a close. “We will send him for national service after the European Championships, but there is no problem with the transfer,” he said All Turkish men between the ages of 21 and 40 are required to serve up to 15 months in the military, although there are some exceptions. Citizens who have worked outside the country for at least three consecutive years can pay a fee of Euros 5112 and undergo basic training for three weeks; while Emre played for Inter Milan prior to joining Newcastle, the three-year anniversary of his transfer falls on July 14.
