Augusto César Lendoiro, presidente del conjunto gallego, en donde militan los mexicanos Andrés Guardado y Omar Bravo, y el representante del jugador, Marcelo Lombilla, se encontraron el domingo por la noche para negociar la salida del pampero. Según informa la prensa española, Lombilla le comunicó al directivo del “Depor” tener un acuerdo con Newcastle de Inglaterra, escuadra que podría presentar una oferta por 15 millones de dólares. De vender al futbolista, el objetivo del presidente del Deportivo es obtener arriba de 20 millones de dólares por el traspaso del jugador, quien es visto como pilar en la zaga del cuadro comandado por el técnico Miguel Angel Lotina. El representante del central sudamericano rechazó tener una oferta del Tottenham, que dirige el español Juande Ramos, y mencionó que la única propuesta formal es la del Newcastle, cuadro que está muy interesado en los servicios del defensor. Basically says that Coloccini could be spending his last few hours as a Depor player, we met with them on Sunday to discuss stuff and that Depor would prefer to get upwards of 20m for him as he's a major part of the team.
