Have to say, i think that's a very good signing for the Mackems. Step above the dross they've been bringing in so far. Malbranque would be a top buy aswell tbf; Kaboul and Tainio - meh.

Fletcher is a big game player that single handed took Arsenal apart. He should be one of the first names on the team sheet. Roy Keane you are showing yourself to be a hypocrite. Nothing worse than an ex red with a big mouth. Saying that Roy could never kept is mouth shut and that's why he was sacked and then he goes on about loyalty. loved him when he played for United hate him now and he has tarnished his legend status. just another player that used to play for united. Giggs, Scholes, Eric, Ole, Neville's are true United leagons. Some have left the club but do not slag of united every chance they get. Roy can you not live without United because you are always making a comment or is it no one cares about Sunderland until you mention united.

Honestly can't remember :$

Quite sure they were tabloids though.  One was a backpage headline with a main story inside,  the other was just inside.  Said about being unsettled and wanting a return to the north west.

There was a story the other day about us being interested but I didn't put much stock in it because it was short on detail and came from somewhere like tribalfootball.

2 papers today said Faye had handed in a transfer request.  Not spotted that mentioned on here anywhere yet.

Hope not.

Which papers were they?

'Daily Gobshite' and 'The London Evening Standard'.
