Even for you, man.

Most males are still growing at 19 and still have to build up stamina.  That's why sportsmen don't usually peak at 19.

A 19-year-old professional footballer should have plenty of stamina, man.

He was 20 on Monday was he not? or is it his birthday tomorrow ?

He badly needs games and some focus, way to soon to write him off.. he like a lot today had a poor game.

Fact is we are going to rely on him for the rest of the season.

How many 19 year olds play Premiership football?  The answer is not many on a regular basis.

Because football demands a high level of positional intelligence, and not too many 19 or 20 year olds have that.

There are sports which require far more stamina than football in which athletes at that age thrive.

Most players who are going to make it are cutting the mustard at Nile's age.

Yes people point to Carroll but his phenomenal progress was very much te exception rather than the rule.

For the rest of the season he should be used as an impact sub and definitely not a starter.

He must go out on loan next season.

So if Shol'as not fit, Best is out for the rest of the season, we sold Carroll and Kuqi can last about 20 mins.. who starts instead of Nile ?

Who says Kuqi can only last 20 minutes? Start with Kuqi and then replace him with Ranger (as with hindsight we should have done today). If half our strikers are injured I'd rather we had a 5 man midfield (when they return from suspension) than start Ranger.

And if he struggles with Guthrie and Colo as the CMs behind him that day, don't let him near the first team again for one calendar year.

Of course he hadn't the best support from our midfield. But he failed in his attempt of keeping the ball. He lost the ball almost every time.  But he's young. He should learn his trade in another league. Kuqi should start our next match..

At this level, Peter Beardsley and Les Ferdinand weren't cutting the mustard as you put it.

Mick: He looked knackered to me second half, but for the sake of argument -

Basketball

Yet from what I've read they peak at 27 or 28, I'm not saying it's all to do with Stamin but it will have a lot to do with it.

Stamina eh? now would you say more to do with physical fitness or mental attitude?

Had we been winning and he had scored I think he would have kept going without any issues, but when things are not going your way, there is a lack of service its easy to start to get frustrated and become negative and give up. I thik that more what happened with Nile rather than him being physically shattered.
