La Parka
Keegan says he plays 3 or 4 positions in http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7588360.stm interview.

Taylor Swift
I like this versatility stuff. The Barcas and Reals of this world all have players who are equally adept at a few positions because it means that wages can be kept lower and the player himself gets more games. Taylor Swift
If he's training with us and ends up signing, then you've really got to trust KK because he'll have seen him first-hand and not in a one-off match as well.
Fatwax
I reckon he'll be in the Bassong mould and get a few lower profile games for us first of all. If he seems good in training I've got no problem, get the lad in.
Dokko
If he's going to cost £4m, why not go for Corluka who'll cost £7.5m, is as versatile and already proven.

Fatwax
Reportedly yeah, but only because it was done behind his back and the first he heard of it was when Corluka was down there discussing personal terms. How much truth there is in the rumours though, who knows?

STM
Getting him on loan according to David Craig, although it's worth pointing out that he is Oliver's SSN mouthpiece. In fact if i didn't know any better, he was speaking from his office.
Fatwax
On loan? Can't wait to see this blown out of the water.

S.S.R.
Can't believe we're doing business with McKay, considering his murky past and the money he's cost us. Why should we have to pay 10% more a season to line his pockets?

Why should we have to pay 10% more a season to line his pockets? Willy McKay was never mentioned when Zayatte was linked with us. It said his agent was Roger Boli(?). Bit of a strange one. On about Atouba mate. My information is that Zayatte was on Tyneside for talks with United officials yesterday afternoon. And his agent Willie Mackay told me today: “He is at Newcastle today and, considering he can play at right-back, central defender and as a holding midfielder, he could be a very valuable signing for them. “He played for Guinea against the Ivory Coast a couple of weeks ago and this has alerted a lot of clubs.”
johnnypd
why would one international match have alerted a lot of clubs? more likely mckay was alerted to him, signed him up, made an agreement with his club to go to England for trials and he's been dragging him around ever since trying to find a buyer. Good player, but I think he's a bit too slow. Watching him the other night, he couldn't cope with that pacey forward playing for that Danish club.
