Unbelievable that 'Keegan meets with Newcastle Board' can be a headline.

In other news, 'Buses leave and arrive at destinations', 'People start work at 9am this morning'.

Brilliant. Nice one !

An interesting thought......

In a hypothetical world where Keegan was sacked do you think we could drive Ashley out? The new Arab consortium who have bought Man City are rivals with DIC. Supposedly DIC are now desperate to but a premier league club so they can compete with their rivals. If we were to get Ashley to think about selling up DIC would be waiting in the wings to snap us up giving them the club they want and us a sh*t load of money.......all hypothetical of course.

Well, let's just say that if King Kev decides to resign, Mike Ashley should retire. Those billion Arab money could be at our pockets!!! :(

It just once again proves and shows the lack of ambition and another mistake by the NUFC board. We're moving in the wrong direction.

Don't talk shite, mate!

Just had a phone call from one of my pals who works for Tarmac , and he rang me saying , did you know keegan has resigned. Well , I told him there nothing official and that its just the same old media talkingg a load of s**** about the toon.

Well to my surprise he said the heirachy at tarmac , came in this morning with the news he had resigned for the following reasons:

-  Spat his dummy out last night because the CLUB wanted to sell Joey Barton and Keegan told them , you have stuck by him through all the s*** , and now your going to let him go once things begin to hopefully get cleared up.

-  He did not want to sell James Milner , and had to come out in the press and say it was his choice.

- Mike Ashley refused to give him money unless he sold players , and he could use the money he made off the players departing.

- Keegan didn't like the fact they wouldnt offer Michael Owen a new contract and thought the club attracted more negativitiy from the press by not nipping this in the bud

So there we have it , nothing is official just yet but going off those points it starts to seem a bit realistic. However , I shal not be drawn into thinking he is gone until theres an official club statement.

Dont shoot the messenger.

That's where you lost me, you only need half a brain to see that's complete bollocks.

Exactly.

However , 8mil for Colo , 5mil for Xisco are the only real money we have spend tbh.

Jonas was next to nothing wasn't he? Bassong was free? Guthrie 2mil?

Handling of money has improved no doubt.

Idiotic throwing money away made matters worse.

Unless we get a bunch of filthy rich arabs, instead of this bloke, we will improve, but slowly.

Open question:

Has Keegan already completed the job he was brought into do?

- Get the club back on their feet - tick

- allow time to bed in structure underneath the manager - tick

A job doesn't end a month into a season just as the transfer window ends..  It ends at the end of a season so the new manager has a full pre season and transfer window..

I was gonna Rick-roll that as well.

if i had clicked on a rick roll at the office, i woulda reached out and grabbed ur neck thru the screen, snapped it in 3 equal parts, shoved one down ur throat, one up your arse, and signed the 3rd on a 5 yr deal!

please don't give us any more heart attacks like that dave man?? please???? thanks

David Craig and SSN at SJP after the break!

my guess will be a mongfest

Fans of Newcastle, you've finally cast off your "mongs interviewed outside the ground" shackles with that display of inbreeding outside the COMS.

The title is coming back i fear !!!

Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

1. Why assume we'd all want to drive Ashley out?

2. We'd probably never know if he was sacked or walked of his own accord.

3. KK has always been volatile and has a history of spitting his dummy out.

4. I'd take Big Mike over Big Fred any day of the week.

There is a strong argument that the club is working towards making itself more sustainable whilst trying to do it's best in the short term.

KK didn't take training this morning.

why the fuck would he take training with only a few players? they are on international break man.

sit back and be patient, we will find something out within a few hours, just wait and see before jumping to conclusions.
