Ketsbaia
after wednesday night, didnt think there'd be a worse set of results, but now I've been proved wrong. bloody typical. what a horrible horrible week. the only consolation is that if all these teams are winning, someone else has to be losing....our relegation rivals from 2 weeks ago are being replaced. but unfortunately, we're winning games to merely keep up with the rest, theres no opportunity to pull away. and monday night is about the 4th "must win game" in a row. the fulham and wigan games are massive games for this club. Thespence
Watching Barca tonight proves what I feel when it comes to people questioning, "But will he be able to do that on a cold night in Bolton" when it comes to top foreign players. The likes of Xavi tonight have been brilliant even in those conditions. The likes of Reyes did go missing in the winter months I used to call him Solar panel as he was only any good when the sun was shining.

Yeah but do you really think the players of Malaga are half as physical as Cahill and Shittu?

Decky
Have to say, I really don't see where Robbie Keane fits in to that Liverpool side, or style of play. I knew full well he'd be a flop tbh. Rafa bought him to play off torres, which is quite possibly the worst thing for Keane. Keane CANNOT play that role (despite what the media say) Hopefully hes like Bellamy and they want rid in the summer, id love him here

Guest
I was referring to Gary not Tim mate., Ah fair enough, even then though, what about that thug of a centre-half Levante had last season. And even most of the top sides have players who'd get their foot in against the best we've got (Yaya Toure at Barcelona, Diarra at Real Madrid, Duscher at Sevilla). Guest Heneage
I do like Sorensen but to go down like a sack of shite when your teammates have kicked seven shades of shite out of hte opposition.

The ball was out of play for f***s sake Have to say i quite enjoyed watching them play today, those Delap throws are fantastic espically with him on my fantsy teams The fact is clubs like Stoke simply can't play the type of football teams like Arsenal play with the abillty they have, they just go and play their own style of football and it works, i wouldn't be complaining if we played anti-football and managed to defeat Arsenal, i kinda admire what Pulis has been doing, just look at the names today, Salif Diao, Rory Delap, Amdy Faye and pretty much all of their squad is made of players who should be playing lower leagues football yet they still defeated Arsenal! Yorkie
BBC didn't want to replay that blatant Rooney dive, then. Shocker.

I know what your saying. Its just a fine line between playing a long ball, pressing style of play and just going all out to just kick the shit out of the opposition. I remember Mark Hughes early Blackburn side seemed a bit like that
Yorkie
Loved how there was a glint in Lineker's eye as he announced Motson was the next commentator, as if he's just provided viewers with a real treat. ... when he's replied to with a nationwide groan.
