Defensively he is excellent, i genuinely cant fault him but he never gets forward at the right time, i cant remeber the last time i saw him put a cross in from the byline, contrast that with Beye and for me you see his one major flaw which is a genuine problem for the team. I read that and thought 'in which way does he mean that?' I think that sums it up, people are quite split on their opinion on Enrique, and if thats the case the people who dont rate him should step back and accept it and try and get behind him. Instead of playing the devils advocate and say the people who rate him should take a step back and realise he's rubbish, think about which decision would have more of a positive effect on the team. Ywh will agree with that, definitely been instrructed to stay in his own half recently but i dont think he's got forward well at all in his career here. Even last year under Keegans revival i dont think he got forward enough. He always hugs the sideline when he goes forward and that makes his so easy to mark. No threat whatseover going forward. My mate was shouting for him to be subbed after 20 mins and then, after his good run and shot, I told him that he's be good after that. In the second half, I thought he was superb. His defending has always been above average, imo, and all that is/was missing was just locating his passes. He was brilliant today and a contender for MoTM. He also seems like quite a confidence-reliant player, so good performances like today (second half at least) will do him the world of good, as will the clean sheet on it's own.
