Guest Alan Shearer 9
two clean sheets in a row but no goals scored either. vs Chelsea away and Borough away. If you don't like it you can support Real Madrid.

lovejoy
another good performance by collo and bassong. taylor cant get back in now surely?
James
We will have to pick things up away from home soon though as 4 of our last ten home games are against the big 4, and two others are derbies.
Guest optimistic nit
shit shit shit shit shit. What a silly overreaction. Good point. Something to build on. fuck off. it was a shit cross. best i've seen us play in ages. nzog, despite what has been said, was dangerous, his pace is something we've missed, and he was imo the most dangerous player on the pitch once martins was taken off. i didn't have any hopes for viduka after his layoff, but he was very good. very very good infact imo. we deserved a few goals at least. STM
Turning into a side that is hard to beat. Would be nice to get a few more wins under the belt and move up the league.
Willow
At least we didn't lose, viduka is back and we're defending well, especially bassong (altho I hear jose had a 'mare)
Rich
What does that do to the table Swaps us and Sunderland. That's it.

Shak
On the plus side our defence is looking good, Colo and Bassong have been superb the last 2 games. Unfortunately Kinnear is pretty much anti-football. Gutless stuff taking off Martins when he'd been our most dangerous player. Another Souness/Roeder until the end of the season then. Goody. ikri
meh, could have been better could have been worse. Not sure how the game would have gone had Owen gone off instead of Martins but Martins was looking dangerous throughout the game whilst Owen barely got a touch. Begbie
Charlies no one but himself to blame today, very poor. how exactly has he been very poor? He's not looked up on some key occassions today. I think Zoggy was one of our better players on the pitch. He worked very well def. and he ketp wide instead of comming way to often in the middle like Jonas did today. Owen should have gone out instead of Viduka, he was so shite today. Think the ref was more involved with the ball then what he was.
Yorkie
Reasonable result and a reasonable performance - any chance of a win once again expelled by Kinnear's substitutions but i won't complain an awful lot cos Boro upped a gear in the second half. I was irate at the time though and Oba had every right to be fuming. Results have gone against us again but we shouldn't care about that, the Fulham and Wigan results killed us a bit. A win next week is more than essential.

Those two seem to have a very good understanding, although they will be tested by Stoke next match.
