Guest Stephen927
Wonder what happened behind the scenes at this football club, in particular that reported bust-up between him and Charles N'Zogbia.
Syrette
Wonder what happened behind the scenes at this football club, in particular that reported bust-up between him and Charles N'Zogbia. It's nothing to do with the fans. Either one or two had a go at him from the stands, or he's just completely lacking in class. Even if it was the former, it's still disrespectful. Robster
Doesnt bother me. Just another footballer scoring against a former side. To be expected. Just a proof of lack of class - expected from most footballers these days

Think it was a case of the booing towards a few of the ex-Sunderland lads, it wasn't particularly prominent but maybe a reference to that. I'm not saying thats a good reason, because I agree with what you're saying in that last sentence there.
johnnypd
disappointing, didnt think he was that sort of character. by all means celebrate with your players but dont run over to, and then taunt, the fans who made you feel welcome and backed you all the way last year
Dinho lad
we're the only big club he'd ever play for.

Is this the same respect we've shown our players over the last couple of seasons? Booing them off the pitch. He owes us fuck all.

Is this the same respect we've shown our players over the last couple of seasons? Booing them off the pitch. He owes us fuck all. Different set of circumstances. How else are we meant to let them know we're not happy? I doubt there is anyone who gave him stick during matches when he played for us.

pedro111
Total c***. I agree he owes the fans some respect. Picked up a decent wage here, most hes ever earnt probably, never took any stick off the fans, and then he goes and celebrates his goal like he just scored the winner in the world cup final whilst goading the fans. c***. Wullie
Probably pissed off at being sold to Stoke. That makes two of us.
Guest black n white
was hoping he would'nt play, it was on the cards think his reaction to the goal could have meant he didnt want to leave or well be the big sam saga
Ronaldo
took his chance here to show how good a defender he was and was then sold to Stoke, dont blame him for being pissed off
Guest LucaAltieri
Anyway, that make it Faye and Bramble who've put rare goals past us this season. What are the odds on Andy O'Brien scoring against us when we next play Bolton?
NJS
I thought he was reacting to the abuse he got for missing the chance just before the goal.
Guest The Libertine
whatever. if we had bought him from stoke and he scored in the last minute and celebrated like that we'd love him for it. stiff upper lip, boys.
