Stu
I'm increasingly starting to believe that circumstances will conspire to take Pardew away from us. Most pessimistic poster of all time?
ponsaelius
What are we supposed to be laughing at, exactly? Old thread is old.
Mole_Toonfan
I would'nt actually mind Spurs if it wasnt for their insanely delusional fans and c*nt of a manager but seeing as they do....... F*ck em.
Stu
What are we supposed to be laughing at, exactly? Old thread is old. Nah, we were laughing because they sold their better players for stupid amounts of money and replaced them (eventually) with cheaper, younger players before adding a couple of expensive 'key' players once the other players had bedded in. Dr.Spaceman
Same. It was funny when they had them foreign managers and were doing turboshit at the bottom of the table with a half decent squad.
Guest
Aye, they were as bland as you could get for about 12 years. Was it from the start of the Premier League upto 2005 where they didn't finish top or bottom 6?
Neil
Same. It was funny when they had them foreign managers and were doing turboshit at the bottom of the table with a half decent squad. All hail Christian Gross.
Guest gggg
They were pretty entertaining when Ardiles was playing his 5-0-5 formation.
Colocho
I'm increasingly starting to believe that circumstances will conspire to take Pardew away from us. Most pessimistic poster of all time? Nah, Pards will become England manager or re-join West Ham when they are promoted.
Sifu
They've certainly looked very good recently. Shame that their manager is that cunt Redknapp otherwise I could actually like them....
mrmojorisin75
thread title change
OzzieMandias
The title was always cringeworthy, tbf. And it still is.
mrmojorisin75
it's good that people are ignoring that though and just discussing whether spurs can win the title
Willow
As the thread starter, I deny coming up with the altered thread title, it was changed at a later date!

Guest gggg
Surely with the position Spurs are in they should be looking to bring in a couple of really top class players and not looking at players from Bolton and Blackburn. They might never get a better opportunity and they were dealing in the £10m-£16m range when they weren't even in the top 4, so they should be able to push the boat out a bit more now and be able to attract top quality. ATB
There problem is not the first eleven, that is good enough. But there problem is that they aren´t rotating anything and the first eleven looks tired and will of course be in big problems with injures, that they have been very lucky with. It would be cool and very welcoming if they win. BUT I would also be very jealous. It could have been us!
Guest Chubby Jason
I'd love them to win the league if 'Arry wasn't there. Maybe they'll have a new manager come February.
LesPaul
Can't see them winning the league. They'll fall apart soon enough. I also think Man City will do an "us" on it and throw everything away. Don't think they'll win anything. Man U's to loose really.

But unlike Villa who always fell away they aren't playing the same XI in the cups, so the most they'll play is 30-odd league games. Even then Villa would have probably got a top 4 spot if they'd gone out and spent when they had a great opportunity, instead of bringing in just Emile Heskey. OzzieMandias
I'd fucking hate them to win the league, with Redknapp or otherwise.
Cronky
Going forward, Spurs have looked good for a while now but until this season they had a soft underbelly in central defence that was preventing them from fulfilling their potential. Kaboul in particular looks a very improved player. I'd seen him as liability before but he now looks one of the best defenders in the league. That weakness in a crucial area has now gone. Providing they can steer clear of injuries to key players, there's no reason why they can't stay up there.
