M4
Just noticed that Andy was wearing Umbro boots today and has been for the last 3 games. He was adidas before... he got himself a new deal?
madras
scared the life out of them , many mackems were thinking he's a targertman to just lump balls to and didn't realise that he's a very good player on the deck
Guest neesy111
Deserved a goal for his performance.
Incognito
Echo what Madras says,he's unplayable in that mindset, not just in the air.A cert for England.
Alberto2005
The last 2 games he's shown has he's a lot quicker than at first glance.
Newcastle Fan
I like the fact that he's not taking players on and running at them, did it against West Ham and did it again yesterday, he really deserved a goal yesterday and hopefully he'll get one against Arsenal. I've always rated Coloccini for not tracking his man.

Guest Antec
Fantastic yet again, not bad for 'a poor man's Kevin Kyle'
Tooj
Thought he was brilliant yesterday. Seemed to have an extra zip about him, especially at times he seems like he's running through treacle. Long may it continue.
Fatwax
Where the fuck has his pace come from as of late? I always got the impression he was fairly slow. When he went past two mackem defenders was immense.
Guest BooBoo
Aye that was the first real moment for us, got the crowd going. Fair play, Bardsley timed his tackle well but it was a great surging run.
Fenham Mag
I dont think he has much pace but he's a fantastically strong runner if that makes sense. More of a 400m man than a 100m man.
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Typical long leg strider. Takes a while to get going, doesn't 'move' quickly, but eats a lot of ground.
henke
That run in the first half where he was tackled on the edge of the box was unreal. Players as tall as carroll aren't meant to do that, it defys the laws of physics or something. Like most of yous i was willing him to get a goal yesterday, he was outstanding. ponsaelius
I've said it before but he's twice as good as Bent in terms of technique and allround play with his feet. The remarks about hs style of play from the mackems are not only innacurate but also hypocritical.
Dinho lad
What else do you think he needs to work on in particular? I still think he needs to imrpove his first touch, shooting and consistency.
Dinho lad
and behaviour, of course.
Guest firetotheworks
Positional vigilance. He drifts to the left wing too often for me. Sometimes is fine, but I think he does it too much. Obvious ones are consistency, passing and finishing.
SteveMc
There's not many i'd swap him for. With a decent quick striker with a predatory instinct long term I think he'll be dynamite
Neil
I thought he was arguably your best player yesterday.
AyeDubbleYoo
First touch is something he needs to work on, but it might never be perfect. Surprisingly pacey when he gets going as well... going to be a brilliant No.9 for us.
lovejoy
When he's on his game, he's unplayable. He has blown hot and cold this season so far, more hot than cold mind, but we must remember he's only a young lad learning his trade in one of the best leagues in the world. He'll be one hell of a player if he keeps improving. Very exciting.
lovejoy
I thought he was arguably your best player yesterday. Agreed. Massive accolade that as well considering he didn't notch, baldini couldn't fail to be impressed. Shows he has more to his game than goals.
Neil
Also, the way he knocked it off the bar and back to Shola - to actually mean to do that is absolutely sensational. What a player.
