Guest
I wouldn't be surprised if we reject another bid tomorrow pretty close to £30m mind if this is the sort of cash they're playing with.
BONTEMPI
Trying to save face after being pwned by Mike Ashley of all people. Only thing that can save his face is a couple of splints.
Dave
Just shown the sagster on SSN. Either he's lying or the club's being run above his head. The latter would be pretty funny.

Martin Lol
'Arry talking to The Guardian: "I never made a bid for Andy Carroll. Maybe the chairman did but I never did. Nobody has told me we've made a bid. I can't get a striker in – Robbie Keane has gone on loan, we've lost him. The chairman made the deal. I think it's on loan but, if they stay up, there's a set fee [of £6m for West Ham] to buy him." http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jan/30/harry-redknapp-andy-carroll-tottenham-hot Levy does all the negotiations, including making the inital bid. But I don't think anyone would be fooled into thinking Redknapp doesn't know what players are the subject of bids and the amount of the bids. He knows. David Icke - Son of God
Media reckon Spurs will come again tomorrow with a £18mill plus Pavluychenko being mentioned. Media know fuck all tbf. I love alot of the breaking news on skysports. "Newcastle sign Woody Woodpecker, we just read it on their offcial website, we like many fans have PC's with an internet browser and an F5 key" This. The four journos on the Sunday Supplement all had differing opinions on Spurs interest in Carroll, ranging from not at all to seriously interest, all from "reliable sources". They know nothing. Carroll wont leave. The club can't get a replacement of any type in this late in the window and there's no pressure to accept any bid (if there is one) from the lad himself. Expect 11pm to come and go tomorrow with a lot of pressmen red faced and a lot of the gnashing and wailing on here looking rather daft.

I'm going to avoid this place too as I'll not be able to take the near suicidal ramblings of some as they fall for Jim White's shouty bollocks. beardsleymagic
Considering it's 'Arry that wants him, i fully expect the FA to issue us with a 30pts deduction if we don't sell Carroll to them by 11pm th'morn. Sorry forgot it's Spurs. By anytime next week.

midds
Spurs are getting more desperate by the hour. Big bids being made and rejected for about 4 or 5 strikers in the hope just one of them signs. No rhyme or reason to who or what type of player they're after they just want a good striker and have left it til 30th Jan to show their hand. Hope they end up with no fucker and Defoe falls down the stairs and snaps his little legs. Shove Dawson up front like they used to do with Docherty.
