Tell you what, do Liverpool play Man City again this season? That fucking knob De Jong's a cunt but if i've ever wanted him to do a job on someone, it AC. Hopefully he kills himself in the process aswell though.

I'm still gutted tbh but players do come and go and the main thing is that the club will still be here for us to support and our love will never die for the club.

No matter what, I'll still always love Newcastle United. :smitten:

And no matter what, we will always get royally shafted and win fuck all for eternity, Sad, but true.

Those with the transcripts saying Carroll won't say anything public, only via the transcripts.  He must be trying to cover something up......

Nice picture that, canny colours.

Racist.

Dave, you cunt, why didn't you stop this transfer? You have the power.

Black power? You're getting worse!

Surely a ban for the C word.

I'm surprisingly not bothered, probably because I've just come to accept that this sort of thing happens when you support NUFC.

It seems like a pretty shit deal for both Newcastle and Liverpool. Us for obvious emotional reasons and them because they've just spunked 35~40 million on a young player who may or may not retain his current form over the long term. In some ways I think both sets of fans could be less than happy about this.

Actually, I should probably rephrase and say that it's a pretty shit deal for both Newcastle and Chelsea, given where the money's actually come from.

As for the cash itself, 40 million pounds is a ridiculously large amount of money. It's the kind of lump sum that could completely revolutionize a team and its league position if spread around wisely. It's a shame that I have absolutely no faith whatsoever in the capabilities of the people who are tasked with spending it.

I'll wait to hear what Carroll says before having an opinion. At this stage I know that something is very dodgy with the way the events unfolded, and with Ashley at the helm I'm 100% suspicious of absolutely everything that he does, and don't believe a word of anything that comes out of the club's grief-hole.

It's going to be spent on something, obviously. It might not necessarily be players.
