Matt
http://blythspartansafc.co.uk/new_php/wp-content/marc_walton.jpg Walton is a great example of a player who clearly had talent, but just couldn't get head straight, even at Blyth he looked good for that level (Conference North at the time), now he's knocking around the lower reaches of the Northern League. Newcastle Fan
Reserves drew 1-1 with Leeds earlier, Vuckic scored again, his second in two days, Him, Good and Abeid all played the first half of the game.

Would like Abeid to go out on loan to a Championship side, get a good run of games.

Seems Gosling is ahead as well, he also seems to see amalfitano as a wide player. Probably due to his physique
durhamunigeordie
Yea, but then I guess that is natural given that Gosling is technically more senior than most of them. This season is make or break for Gosling's career here. I hope he does well personally, think he has been written off prematurely by a few.
summerof69
http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20120814/oldham-res-1-newcastle-res-2_2281670_2882446? Young Adam Campbell's memorable week continued as he scored for the Reserves in their final friendly of the summer at Oldham's Chapel Road training ground. The 17-year-old impressed on his first-team debut at Cardiff on Saturday and gave Newcastle's second-string the lead with a poachers' goal against the Latics. Bradden Inman doubled the advantage before a trialist pulled one back for the hosts, but manager Willie Donachie - returning to one of his former clubs - felt the Magpies deserved the win, although Jak Alnwick made some important saves in the United goal. Campbell put his team ahead as he got in front of a defender at the near post to divert Yven Moyo's low cross into the net before Inman scored with a smart finish. The visitors were also denied what seemed a certain penalty when Michael Richardson was brought down after cutting inside to shoot. Oldham included former Newcastle youngster Dan Taylor but despite scoring late on, they couldn't force an equaliser as Newcastle gained a confidence-boosting victory ahead of their opening game of the Barclays Under-21 Premier League against Tottenham on Saturday. Newcastle United Reserves: Jak Alnwick, Alex Nicholson (sub Steven Logan), Lubo Satka, Curtis Good, Yven Moyo (sub Michael Riley), Marcus Maddison (sub Brandon Miele), Conor Newton, Michael Richardson, Mehdi Abeid, Bradden Inman (sub Dennis Knight), Adam Campbell (sub JJ Hooper)

Cajun
I would send Vuckic, and Gosling on a season long loan now we have signed Anita and send Abeid and Bigi on alternate half season loans. We have the bodies imo, long term it will benefit the players & the club plus Gosling needs a full season of regular football to see what he is capable of. Tiote, Cabaye, Anita, Jonas, Amalfitano, Abeid/Bigi, HBA, Marveaux and Obertan should be enough whether we play 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 4-2-1-3 or whatever. Cajun
Also Sammy and Ferguson & Tav (if we sign a full back) out on season.
BottledDog
Vuckic, Furguson and maybe Tav could go out on loan at a stretch, but I wouldn't want to see anyone else leave.
aussiemag
I agree, Gosling needs a full season in the Championship. Vuckic I would send to a more technical league, like a mid-table Dutch side on loan.

Jack Flash
Gosling is a different type of player to Tiote and Anita. He gets forward and in the box which is rare for our central midfielders. Don't disagree at all about him needing loads of games but he'll score goals for us this season, mainly in Europe.
Tooj
Also Sammy and Ferguson & Tav (if we sign a full back) out on season. I wouldn't send Tavernier out again.
BottledDog
We'll need them all at some point, and the likes of Gosling and to some degree Oba need to prove themselves here this season rather than some lower league outfit.

Keeps his fitness up he can become a goal threat from centre midfield which is a good option.

gbandit
Class that we've got some really exciting youth coming through while the main team is performing so well. Must be inspiring knowing that if you work hard enough you might have a chance of being part of something special. Especially if you're born and bred here
BrettNUFC
Still slightly dissapointed Inman hasn't been given a shot yet. Think he's got real talent. Loves an injury though.
