On a serious note, the kids are now forced to go to home first team games and get fined 10% of a weeks wages the first time and it goes up 10% every time they miss a game and they could end up owing the club money.

2 of them were sat in front of us at the Hull game, turned up 30 minutes in and sat with hoods up and arms folded, miserable as fuck

Nowt wrong with that. The kids earn too much money.

How much would your average academy kid be on? Doubt it would be all that much really. Anyway, it's a strange argument to make. They make their money by training and performing in matches, not by being forced to sit through endless sessions of boring Pardew hoofball.

  • 4 weeks later...

Remie Streete recalled from his loan due to our defensive injuries.  Real shame, just started to establish himself in the defence and now he has to come back and sit on our bench (if that) until January.

Strange one - suggests the Colo and Taylor injuries might be worse than we thought.

He was getting a run in Port Vale's team and his loan was just extended until January a week back.

Good thing we still rely on an injury-prone CB and two others on the wrong side of 30 while letting a French international go.
