nobby_solano
OP is way off the mark. Try Coleman or Warnock. Oh, hang on, no spurs connection. Maybe they can temp another relic out of retirement, what about Gerry Francis or David Pleat. good lord i hope not. pleat's bad enough commentating

Dan Gleebals
Fuck me, sentiments on here have changed alot over the years. People were threatening to rip up season tickets at the prospect of bafpuss coming on board "plastic geordie" etc etc - now he is the saviour in waiting.. All the top European managers - forget it. Fact is, even if Kinnear was 6ft under Ashley would still keep him on as manager "cos they like him". The Stig of top gear for me, at least no one would know who he was, just what we need IMO.... That was a joke, like this thread really as I have no faith in a post Kinnear appointment what so ever.

toontownman
What if Kinnear decideds to leave and Shearer declines to take over? Who do you want? Who would come? Sorry to start another potential downer with every other depressing scenario becoming apparent. I think we would still attract alot of names, possibly a few that might even be as good if not a better bet than Shearer. Do the people that fancied Bruce still think he would entertain the possibility now we actually are relegated? I think he should be number 1 priority if Shearer does decline, although I doubt there would be much point asking seeing as he and Shearer would demand similar things. Martinez would be amoung the top of the pops for up and comers.

Ericz
How about a female manager for a change? http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38251000/jpg/_38251518_louise298.jpg She might be more motivational than Kinnear. And I bet she knows about football too.
mrmojorisin75
Mark Corrigan. i'd rather have Jez myself, team talks would be sweet: "Am I really going to play Shola today? Yes, I am. There is no way this isn't a good idea"
