Weird that when our draw was made everyone was worried about Czech and Poland, yet none of the 3 of us qualified.

 

Slovakia really impressed me though.  They're a good, crisp passing side.

Hopefully the French will have a bit of a fear factor after what Scotland did to them home & away in the Euro 2008 qualifiers.

France are crap now anyway, couldn't have hoped for an easier tie tbh.  This isn't 1998.

 

Even if they're not a good team, there's too many match winners in that side. Ireland have Robbie Keane, France have Henry, Benzema, Ribery & Malouda. Even if they don't play well, they'll score.

OMG, Papin in the studio, cool! Didn't know his English was any good.

 

Got to love the build up here :lol: Dunphy saying the French manager is a joke, that he proposed to his wife on live TV and she rejected him :lol: There has to be a clip of this.

 

:lol: That's not true... he did propose in the post match interview of the game that saw them get knocked out, but she didn't say no.

 

Come on Ireland!
