JOSE Enrique is out of this weekend's crunch survival clash at Stoke City.

The Spanish defender suffered a knee injury in training earlier in the week and will not travel to Staffordshire.

And boss Alan Shearer told nufcTV: "Unfortunately Jose won't be available.

"He caught a ball on his toe earlier in the week and it twisted his knee slightly.

"Hopefully though he won't be out for too long."

Meanwhile, Shearer confirmed that both Steven Taylor (ankle) and Peter Lovenkrands (back) would also miss the game at the Britannia Stadium.

Hope we can pull off a draw.

Ryan Taylor would likely play left back I'd imagine.  That way you only have one player out of position and a dominant header of the ball in the middle.

Just thought of that myself.

Beye - Coloccini - Bassong - R.Taylor

That's better.

I think Seb will partner Coloccini in the center, with Beye back to RB and Edgar will get a start at LB.

Makes sense since Taylor is quite small compared to Edgar

We will need as much height in the side as possible, which is why I also reckon there will be starts for Nolan and possibly Carroll.

Hell's teeth. It's a big blow that but it doesn't leave us totally fucked. Ryan Taylor's wank but atleast it doesn't mean we have to chuck Edgar or Bassong in at left-back. Just means Coloccini gets another game; he'd better be fucking up for it cos we're going to have to rely on him and Bassong.

I have faith when there's a Habib, though. :aww:

We'll nick a point i reckon, and that won't be a bad result.
