toontownman
Martins has to play every game from now even if he is on one foot. The difference he has made has been startling. It's a joke that anyone compares his effectiveness to Owen's ineffectiveness. We have actually had strikers on the pitch this half. not likely, he will be out at least another week or two with his groin after this game.

Guest Phil K
Hate to have been proved right Been shot at by many for saying we'd get whats being shown now. The monumental IDIOCY in giving the job to Kinnear when no-one in the bottom two leagues would go near him has finished us. We are finished, thanks to Shepherds giving the job to the wrong people, then Ashley doing the same, only worse. Now we've got to try to avoid doing a Leeds.... johnnypd
No one to blame but Shearer for todays result. I reckon the players have to take a little... Shearer's bizarre lsd induced mid 90s flashback formation and tactics have to take a large part of the blame too. we've shown we can play with a better mix of players on the pitch. hopefull ye realises this but it is probably too late to save us now. Carlito
With our central midfield we may as well play 2 wingers and 4 strikers, we'd be better off.

Southerner
Martins appears to have finally realised he has no balls. probably because they've been sucked up inside him due to his numerous hernia's.
Teasy
Another winnable game lost.. As usual the Spuds weren't that good against us, but this time we just let them win.
Gallowgate Toon
No one to blame but Shearer for todays result. I agree tbh, very very poor formation even though it didn't work against Stoke.

Alby
No one to blame but Shearer for todays result. How's that exactly? So he should be blamed for the fact that our midfielders can't pass a ball to someone five yards away literally?
Raconteur
No one to blame but Shearer for todays result. While Shearer does have a lot of responsibility for the shite formation, the shite tactics and the shite substitutions, the players are also responsible in that they are required to put in some effort, and shouldn't let a very poor side look like Brazil 1970... Newcastle's best players today included Tim Krul, David Edgar, Danny Guthrie and Shola Ameobi
Dave
I can't believe anyone still thinks we'll win three home games on the spin.
