Reports say they have been in contact for a couple of weeks. Has it been confirmed/denied that they have completed due dilligance yet? Do they need to carry out the full process of due dilligence if they are not reliant on bank funding etc, they may agree the sale and tell Ashley if he is trying to rip them off then he can kiss goodbye to his knee caps lol, Ashley didn't do any of this did he (due dilligence) when he purchased the club hence the s*** he found regarding the debt. If they have done due dilligence and are happy with what the outcome is, and if a deal is all agreed in prinicple, there is nothing stopping them from doing what the Arab did at Man City, and sign a Sales Purchase agreement (SPA) Which then legally binds both parties to the purchase/sale of the club, which means they can get on and run the club as they wish while all paperwork is being completed Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

In this moment I couldn't care less though, I just would like that...whoever brought some players in, don't care how or who, we just need more players before the bloody window shuts! A takeover, any additional recruits and a proper manager would be a bonus, but I'm not expecting anything positive to happen. Even if these americans have flown in for talks they're only doing so with Seymour Peirce who are just going to recommend them to Ashley if they think they're good for the money.
