Guest sicko2ndbest
It's apparently near-impossible to get banks to finance leveraged takeovers in the Glazier-Man Utd mold anymore, so I'm personally not getting my hopes up over this. I don't think it's a full finance package!

TRon
The only reason I have any hope that the club might still get sold is that Freddie Shepherd and Barry Moat have kept very quiet to this point. They are obviously still in there pitching FWIW.

They are obviously still in there pitching FWIW. As I've mentioned in previous quotes, I don't think NUFC will be sold to Freddy as he's had an offer on the table for a couple of months now and the only communicaton he's had from the club is if he wants to increase his offer. Newcastle Fan
No one wants to buy us wouldn't bringing the team back in the premiership get u at least 50% of what ur going to spend? a 100m sounds like a bargin to me honestly.

Dave
Hughton has bolstered his defence by signing Manchester United right-back Danny Simpson on loan and is already setting his sights on signing Tottenham teenager Jake Livermore and Watford defender Mike Williamson. Is it beyond these people to use Wikipedia?
Chrisjraby
Livermore only signed for a month didn't he? It could still be possible for us to sign him after his Derby loan expires as the loan window is a month longer isn't it? Not 100% on that, but i'm sure the loan and permanent transfers are different time scales.
Yorkie
I'd love to buy Hughton a pint and shake his hand tbh. A lot of people probably think differently to that but i hold him in quite a high regard tbh as a person. I realise how totally off the cuff that comment was btw.
