SEMTEX
As poor as he is, I'd rather give the likes of Henderson experience than letting old plodders fail again. /
Interpolic
Tbh you have to wonder how Danny Simpson, Danny Guthrie and Shola Ameobi didn't get anywhere near this squad.
Klaus
Tbh you have to wonder how Danny Simpson, Danny Guthrie and Shola Ameobi didn't get anywhere near this squad. What henderson did to get into the squad this season is beyond me
cubaricho
Probably controversial but I think Guthrie would do a real job in the England squad. He has a good European-style possession game that would do well at a competition like the Euros.
Fenham Mag
Probably controversial but I think Guthrie would do a real job in the England squad. He has a good European-style possession game that would do well at a competition like the Euros. and has the odd goal in him.
Stu
Tbh you have to wonder how Danny Simpson, Danny Guthrie and Shola Ameobi didn't get anywhere near this squad. Guthrie is a good shout, not getting in ahead of Tiote and Cabaye is nowt to be ashamed of. Just a shame that the best English midfielder is a ginger 37yo who is in semi-retirement
David28
Agree about Guthrie. Should probably have made the squad.

Sifu
All in all, an underwhelming (and typical) performance from England. There were actually a few positives here and there but what is definitely clear now is that we have no bite whatsoever in midfield and that could potentially screw us over in the Euros. chicago_shearer
If that puts Barry out of the tournament, then it's been worth the trip. Going to really struggle to see any of the ball against France.
