Guest BooBoo
Despite, his truly ridiculous behaviour against Barcelona, UEFA have downgraded Didier Drogba's ban from 4 games to 3. More pandering to the big clubs by UEFA.
Mr. Snrub
Chelsea aren't a big club.

M4
Annoying enough that Chelsea couldn't just accept a punishment for once. Drogba clearly went well overboard yet they were trying to claim he should not be banned at all.

Guest Stephen927
http://blogs.reuters.com/soccer/files/2009/05/rtxet4s1drogba.jpg Absolute clown. If it were a player from a "lesser" club do you think his ban would have been reduced for behaving like that?

stalker
Absolute disgrace. The referee's performance was one of the most shambolic I've ever seen and I can understand Drogba going mad as they were cheated but what sort of example does this set for everyone else. Ronaldo
It should never have been 4 games (1 suspended) in the first place. Football involves emotion, you cannot expect men to act like robots when they've just been unfairly deprived of a place in the champions league final. I wish we had players who want to win as much as Drogba does, his other antics aside
mozy
Who can honestly say they wouldn't react like Drogba? That refereeing performance was woeful and he deserved to know exactly what the players thought of it. I think its a better method than bitching about it to Sky every time. Mowen
I found Frank Lampard's reaction to this the funniest. It'll be paraphrased but essentially "you can't expect grown men to keep under control in that situation" I think he got grown men and small children confused. LiquidAK
The way I react to FIFA tells me that I would definitely react like that, doesn't mean I wouldn't deserve a big ban for it though.
Kaizero
I'd probably react like that. But I'd take the ban for it as I in hindsight would know I shouldn't have reacted like that, just as I feel a few minutes after ruining things playing FIFA and losing unfairly. Shearer9
Irrelevant anyway unless they're prepared to give him a 9+ game ban. Qualifiers and a couple of group stage games he'll miss.
