Get the ball, give it away. Been the same for weeks and weeks.

Vent your frustration at Pardew, not Krul.

Mentioned it in the match thread but noticed today how little the defenders offer for it. Need to get the full backs pulling very wide and dropping deep to open the pitch up when he's distributing and to give him specific short options.

Needs to get it sorted and quick. Needs to start throwing it.

more of a team thing than a krul thing.

That he can't kick a ball properly? Aye, right.

that he's not throwing it maybe as much as he ought to.

Pardew's telling him to boot the ball straight back to the opposition in our own half?

Kicking a ball accurately over long distances is hard when it's windy?

Do you not have wind in Korea?

Cats and wind. Those are the two things that creep me out every time I'm overseas.

Ah, well, best you never discover cats with wind... could be the tipping point.

In fact, this youtube clip must be like Hammer Horror to you:

Proof of concept : A cat flying a kite

Been quite poor recently. Transfer talk got to him? Overconfidence? Lack of competition for his place?

Up ya game fella...

Yep. He's not been at his best recently.

Seriously guys....

In our last six games he has kept three clean sheets. He was a little bit out of position for Gerrards goal at Anfield, and had a poor game against Fulham. Apart from that he´s been very good. He has made very few mistakes this season, probably less than anyone in the premiership.

You think he stood any chance of saving any of them goal!

Only real gripe is his kicking, it really is shocking and isn't getting much better.

I used to think Harper taking forever over every kick, shifting everyone over one side of the pitch and then kicking it stragiht to Routledge on the opposite side was bad enough.

The hit and hope is obviously to do with Pardew, but it doesn't help having players like Williamson and Simpson that are scared of the ball.

The fact we play a lot of long balls under his tenure, players like Jonas, Cabaye, HBA, Santon, Guthrie get rendered useless by this tactic.

We've had games where we have played some really nice stuff, parts of QPR, 30 mnutes or so vs Fulham, Villa away, Blackburn home.  But we've also had a lot of games, I would argue more, where we seem to favour hoofing it forward and Pardew has even admitted using those tactics in certain games (Man U it worked, QPR it didn't).

I would like to think if S.Taylor was fit and we had a right back that showed for the ball and didn't punt it anywhere under no pressure.  We would actually try and play from the back a bit more.  Colo and Santon are comfortable in possession and I would hope if the whole back 4 was, Krul might start rolling/throwing it out and AP would encourage this style of play.
