sempuki
I'd be less worried about this if Darlow was fit because Krul had been in poor form this season but the though of having Elliot in goal again is a massive worry. I think I'd rather we recalled Woodman, he'll be sharper with the game time he's been having. Me too. We know the Blob is woeful but we don't know about Woodman yet. xLiaaamx
I don't like either him or Krul. Neither of them are good goalkeepers. Least this one can kick a football

Hanshithispantz
Krul is a 'good goalkeeper' ffs He's nowhere near as good as he was/or seemed a few years ago when he looked like he was going to be one of the best in the league.
xLiaaamx
Is he? He gets over the top praise for saves he should be making and then makes a huge load of massive errors. In my opinion he gets by on that past reputation. He's better than Elliot when it comes to shot stopping. But in the order of the leagues first choice goalkeepers he'd be near the bottom. The likes of Fabianski are better than him now. I find myself thinking too often "he should have done better there" there's a reason there's never been interest in him. Do you keep some sort of portfolio on Premiership goalkeepers or something? Honestly haven't got a clue where he would rate, but he's a fairly average mid/lower-table Premiership keeper. I'd quite happily see us replace him but Elliott over him is terrible for us because Elliott is genuinely shite.

Guest
Absolutely f***ing ridiculous how short sighted the club are with regards to injuries and squad depth. Tbf in this instance, most clubs will have maybe 2 senior keepers then one youngster who'd step in on the bench. We've got 3, not many have 2 out at the same time like we've had the last 2 seasons now.
Kanj
Why would we ever be fair to this cuntish club?

toon25
I was speaking in general terms, tbf. With regards to the goalkeeping situation, Blob is far from even being considered anywhere near good enough for a 'backup' keeper. I'm not asking for two world class keepers. I'm asking for, at the very least, a decent professional keen to make an impression when called upon in case of injury to the first choice, not the fat mess we've been stuck with. midds
Will need to muddle through to January then buy. Whoa, whoa, steady on, he's not dead, he'll be fit again eventually. Why buy a replacement? Who do you think we are, Man City? We'll need to muddle through to August and wait for him to get fit.
