Guest
What is the point in the news saying "If you don't want to know the scores, look away now". They don't even leave a pause! "If you don't want to know the scores, look away now or turn the volume down, Emmanuel Adebayor made it 3 in 3..."

Skeletor
Axel Witsel from Standard de Liège brakes Wasilewski's leg Here's the GIF, didn't link directly to it as it is fairly sickening and some people might not want to view it. http://i29.tinypic.com/33e1wfd.gif

Ridman
Be amazed if that lad on the stretcher plays again. A shame for the national team. Probably the best defender in the squad, will be gutted for him if Poland manages to qualify for the world cup. Watching the youtube clips and seeing his reaction brought tears to my eyes http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/3900/wasyl.jpg (not for the faint of heart)

Offshore
oooooooyafukka...just watched that on youtube, he'll be lucky to walk without a noticable limp after that let alone play again.
Guest Bartos
The irony is that Wasilewski, the victim, is known as an animal who just runs around elbowing his opponents and getting booked almost every game. While Axel Witsel is a young promising player, who was awarded best player of the league last year, is a Belgian international and got interest from quite some European top teams (even Man Utd was mentioned). Anyway this tackle was horrifying and he will be banned for quite some time, as should be. They are speaking of an 8 month revalidation for Wasilewski, but I think it will be hard for him to return to the same level. Btw, in the same Anderlecht also saw Polak out injured with a knee injury and they will miss him for the next 6 months. I really hate Anderlecht but that is a very hard verdict in only one game. Anderlecht and Standard were already for a few years each other's biggest rivals for the title but this will really heat things up.
Shearergol
I've seen much worse tackles (SG) which result in nothing. The pace they were both going caused the injury more than anything.
