AyeDubbleYoo
It has been retarded shipping out major contributors to last season's campaign (not been a huge amount, though...yet). But these dummy spitting players can fuck right off. They're every bit as bad as the cunts at the top. Yeh, they are. Since when does the 'club' deserve to be embarrassed by self-centered, egotistical prats. Paid fortunes and act like they're the hardest done by mother fuckers on the planet. It's shameful. Maybe the club should have tweeted shit about Barton when he was locked up! Boo hoo...Nolan didn't get what he wanted, boo hoo...Barton is a tortured soul. This is Newcastle United. Not Barton United, Ashley United, Jose United, Accountants United etc etc. There's a lack of class throughout this club at the moment. Exactly right. Dr Venkman
They must have a replacement lined up or something, surely Ashley cant be that stupid, he must know how badly everyone will react to this
Pilko
Newcastle have won only one of their last 18 Premier League games without Joey Barton in the team. And no wins in 6 or 7 without Nolan, too. Looking good
oldtype
Replacement or not we could have just sold him. I'm no fan of Barton but this smacks of impulsive and emotional decision making from the club leadership.
Foluwashola
People defending this decision. Don't understand it at all The only thing that matters is what happens on the pitch, this can only negatively effect us. I haven't seen anyone defending the decision based on the effect. But isn't having a player mouthing off every couple of days an untenable situation? It's not every other day though, is it? The owner's inability to invest and hang onto key players is far more worrying. Joey has called a spade a spade and as a result has been kicked out. KaKa
Ashley has clearly had enough of him slagging him off while paying him £50k + per week. Many people would be the same. I still think a punishment/fine/time in the reserves would have been better. With one year left they just decided to ditch him. Rather than pay him all that money for a one year holiday. Joey is as volatile as the come though. In a couple of weeks he could be happy again. And a couple of weeks after that? Mental again. Why bother? Wil
Think he had to go, unfortunately. The negativity couldn't go on into the season. Guess there was always going to be a huge fallout once the Nolan/Barton axis was broken.

p_cowell141
I'm waiting for Pardew's comment that we 'might need one more player in'... Does he think we started the transfer window with a +6 player handicap?
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
So... Selling Andy Carroll annoyed Nolan, which annoyed Barton, which annoyed Ranger. Feeling left out Enrique decided to be annoyed too. Now Inman is getting in on the act. wow.
morgs
I am pretty worried that come arsenal, we will have a team who barely know each other and with the football they play it will look that way.
Guest H09
People having a go at Barton and Enrique for coming out on twitter. The bigger picture is the reason WHY they have to come out. Every club in the country has players on twitter, we're the only one who's players speak out against the board, there is good fucken reason for that. Barton, Nolan, Carroll and Enrique gone, that is a significant part of how we stayed in this league.

KaKa
The players and their agents definitely play up the whole "Ashley is a terrible owner" thing everytime they want a new contract, or want to move on. Make no mistake about it. They're all a bunch of snakes. Looking out for their best interests.
