Sensational, is fast becoming the heart and soul of this team. Was so chuffed when he stayed on the ground and didn't retalitate. Vital for us and a must to get the contract sorted asap.

It was a great tackle from Barton, even better composure when Diaby was grabbing his neck and throwing him to the ground.

Well done Joey.

PS: the kid in your sig is a very good player by all accounts. I know a couple of lads who play with him in U15s and they talk very highly of him

Yeah, apparently got a big future ahead of him, might get his chance sooner than he thinks if our striker injuries keep mounting up.

Finger crossed he keeps his head down, works hard and comes along like those who know think he will. Ugly fuker mind.

used to be one of my least favorite players when he was on citeh and acted like an idiot whenever someone breathed on him.

he and nolan brought this team back today. they are pure heart.

Also played a blinder from the centre today, against everything some were saying about it been laughable to even assosiate him with the possition ever again.

Him going back to the right when Ranger came on changed the game tbh.

he went wide a long time before ranger came on. mcloven went up front and barton went wide in the first half.

started in the centre....didn't stay there.

When the rest of the midfield isn't working, he tries to take things into his own hands.  Was like that on Wednesday as well.
