Guest henrique
Someone please put together a compilation of Guthrie’s last performances. He is class on the ball these days!
ponsaelius
Another fine display from the Shrewsbury Iniesta.
nufcjmc
Am I right in remembering that we only paid around 1.5m for him has matured into a very good player indeed nice to have options in the centre

Yorkie
The cynical cunt in me still wants us to let him sweat on it a bit, at least whilst we still absolutely need him in the first team... So long as he's tied down by March, all should be cushty...
wormy
Is he going to sign? I honestly don't see why not. He's proven himself to the club. They've proved he's going to get a fair amount of games, even as the third choice that he currently is. Where's he going to go but downwards if he leaves us. Whilst he's a good player, I can't see a team above us taking him on tbh.
Disco
Guthrie for England? Was just about to pose the same. Nee chance like. Has Capello even been to SJP yet? The old Italian puffter.

Surely he'll have the nouse to realise being back up to them two is a class position for him. One of them's usually suspended anyway, and we'll have the European fixtures next season as well. ponsaelius
Better central midfielder than Joey Barton.

I'm not convinced about that. He could be starting in the Premier League every week for someone like Fulham or West Brom.
AyeDubbleYoo
Aye, maybe, it's possible I suppose. He's as good as some of the plodders knocking about those type of teams I guess.
wormy
I'm clinging to Ian's positivity that he realises a high amount of appearances in what essentially looks like enforced rotation at a team looking good for knocking onto challenging for Europe is better than chugging along as first choice in mid table. And fuck me what an awfully constructed sentence. Fuck it.
NEEJ
Fantastic today, made most things he did today look effortless. Didn't expect such a massive turnaround following last season's disappointing showings, but he's now more than proving his worth to the team. Long may it continue. JH
Delighted he's showing people what a great player he is Really starting to become comfortable with him being first choice. Nice to have a bit of competition.
Dan Gleebals
Class today and I mean class. He has well and truly played his way into this team. Hard to drop him on todays performance.

Wouldn't be the worst replacement for Danny Murphy for Fulham particularly as he has age on his side and should in theory get better.
