Dave
WARNING: THREAD CONTAINS UNFOUNDED POSITIVITY. Say the Moat takeover happens in principle sometime in the next five days then (who knows how long it would take to actually go through), and Shearer is appointed on Wednesday, he's then got two weeks to bring in some players and ship some out. Assuming there's not huge funds available - say £10m - who is still on the market that would come here and do a job? Beckford is the obvious one. Mistle17
Didi Hamman? Freebie and would do a better job than Nicky Butt. Just a thought.
QBG
Beckford. Should be any new owner/manager's first signing.

Yorkie
Beckford, Anichebe (L), Smith, Teale, Lovenkrands, Williamson, Addison, Dervitte (L), Simpson (L), Campbell, Volz, Pamarot, Jaidi. Off the top of me head like. Don't know a great deal about most of them if i'm being brutally honest.

TRon
Beckford and Lovenkrands would turn an ordinairy team into promotion favourites IMO. It wouldn't cost much more than £5m either.
