I know its only the 2nd game, but don't you just love the feeling after a win  :smitten:

Yep, even better is the feeling that we are good enough going into each game to think that we should/have a great chance of getting 3 points out of it.

When the news came through at work that we'd won 3-0 (only saw the first half), i went fucking mental. What a fucking feeling that was. I picked up the lass next to me and just planted a huge smacker on her cheek. I then thought to myself, looking at me other (non-football-following) colleagues... fuck - they will never experience an instantaneous high like i did just then. It's absolutely awesome.

3rd highest attendance in English football today.

Get a bit of momentum going and we'll fill the ground imo. :)

A new owner and a manger and the sky's the limit, well it's not 52,387 is.

After arguing with Spurs fans about this here are some figures for comparison.

Leeds first game in Championship after relegation, 7k less than us.

West Ham first game in Championship after relegation, 8k less than us.

Man City first game in Championship after relegation, 7k less than us.

shouldn't it be:  attendance / full capacity x 100 to make the percentage.  We have a lot bigger stadiums then them.

That still isn't really a fair reflection, just because we have a bigger stadium doesn't mean we should get a bigger attendance, I'd understand if any of those three were near capacity with those figures but they aren't.

Aston Villa under Martin O'Neil, Barclays Premiership - 35,568

Newcastle United, no manager, Coca Cola Championship - 36,944

That's a canny attendance.

20k more than the southern press told us we'd be getting.

This is Readings first away loss since January. St James Park could be a fortress this season, hah.

It's also Brendan Rodgers first away game (I think), i.e he's a shitcunt.

Looks like a lucky escape with that one.

I mean if you can't beat NUFC in their lowest point in near on 2 decades while Goala Ameobi scores a hattrick and in reality should have had 5, then really you don't belong in the management game.
