Mr. Snrub
This is what happens when Butt's in the team, it's all his fault.
alexf
Why can we f*** teams in the Coca Cola Championship but then get spanked by s*** teams like Huddersfield...... because were playing a weak lineup
QBG
Am I the only one who doesn't find this even remotely funny? Personally I think it's a f***ing crease. Why because we're losing at home to an inferior team? Basically, yeah. Sorry but I don't find that amusing.
Mike
Four injuries/suspensions/sales and this is what we're left with.
Ronaldo
I'd like a good cup run to be honest, and what does this do to confidence? Spot on I dont think it harms it that much when largely the players who were winning arent in the game tbh They are though

Guest Kenton Magpie
I blame Shola, could have made it clear he wanted to put in a shift tonight or he would hand in a transfer request!

Spot on I dont think it harms it that much when largely the players who were winning arent in the game tbh It will affect the whole squad's confidence. It is ridiculous to suggest it only hurts the eleven on the pitch

johnnypd
Four injuries/suspensions/sales and this is what we're left with. we'll probably average more than 4 injuries/suspensions at any given time once the season starts taking its toll, and that's before you think of anyone being sold. David Icke - Son of God
It's hardly worth the wrist slitting that will follow if we lose. We're playing a bunch of youngsters and players out of position. Lets face it the Carling Cup is nowt but a distraction for us at the moment anyway. The last thing we need is a cup run as the further we get the more pressure Hughton will be under to field a strong team which is only going to harm our chances of promotion. We're not going to win the fucking thing
Dave
we simply don't have the squad for a cup run right now, as we can all see A cup run? It'd be like two more games at most. I'm more bothered about the 42 remaining league games.
Willow
Subs: Harper, Smith, Gutierrez, Ameobi, Tozer, Donaldson, Vuckic. shola and nile for 2nd half? maybe smith for nolan?
Cajun
We are without Harper, Coloccini, S Taylor, Jonas, Barton, Smith, Ameobi and Carroll. Calm down dears!
Spider Jerusalem
This is exactly what most of us on here knew was going to happen - scratch the surface of the first team and there's nothing of substance left. We have gotten lucky so far as we have been able to field a full strength team of (mostly) Premier League players and have had the lion's share of matches against mediocre opposition, making it look as though we will walk the league. colinmk
Would of prefered him to have started Tozer in this match, natural centre half at least.
