I'd be amazed if Blackpool were 'cash-strapped' given their recent PL sojourn and continued parachute payments.

Didn't one shareholder claim almost the entire profit they made from the PL season? Amounting to about £11m, or something?

The owner doing something odd rings a bell aye, either way I'd still imagine they're in good nick given that they spent balls all money (in relative) terms in the PL / last season, as far as I can remember.

Thought someone would have posted twitchy face's comments about Bale.

I saw the headline quote on my phone on the BBC homepage earlier this morning, and was wondering who would be so embarrassingly daft to come out with such tripe. Eyes rolled the full 60 when I read the whole article.

Just seen these now. WTF.

Same. FFS. It's unreal how much that monkey faced prick gets hyped up. Well done, you overturned the mighty Scotland single handed. That's certainly something to write home about. You're now as good as Messi.

Wait, I'm confused. Why's he blabbing on anyway? He's got no club to tap him up for. :undecided:

It's the habit man, he needs to tap up players as drug addicts need heroin.

I'm sure had he been made England manager he'd be tapping up Messi.

According to my ManU friend from Leeds (yeah), Antonio Valencia is the league's best right winger.

The league has fewer out-and-out wingers than I can remember with the renaissance of 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 in the Premier League. Valencia isn't a bad shout.

It's true that there seem to be more outstanding players on the left than on the right too. At least that I can think right now.
