Aston Villa director tells players to 'kick the crap out of opponents'

Villa are currently one point from the Premier League bottom three following Saturday's home defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers as supporters turn against the manager, Gérard Houllier. However Krulak, a confidante of the Villa owner, Randy Lerner, and a Vietnam war veteran, has attempted to rally the fans on the supporters' forum Villa Talk.

The American said: "When my marines put on their uniforms and the emblem of the corps and went into battle and things got tough, they did not fight for their commander, they fought for their brothers-in-arms, the men wearing their uniform and emblem.

"When a player puts on a kit and wears the club badge, I would expect the same."

Andy Cole - 16 Caps 1 Goal for England. Seems really odd when you think how good he was. Suppose he had to battle Shearer & Sheringham for an England spot.
