JH
Fittest player: Danny Guthrie. Can't wait till Ronaldo sees that. It's just a shame Lovenkrands isn't down as our fastest

Dave
I find it hugely improbable that 13 of the 20 fastest had the exact same 'top speed'.
Segun Oluwaniyi
It's mental how everyone at Arsenal and Wigan are within 1 MPH of each other. They're all nearly the exact same speed. Guthrie is second fittest in the entire league.
TaylorJ_01
Why is almost everyone in the fastest player list the exact same speed?
Stifler
Both Whitley Bay and North Shields won today (North Shields winning 9-1) to keep alive both their respective promotion bids.
Segun Oluwaniyi
Why is almost everyone in the fastest player list the exact same speed? This is actually fairly probable. All of the world's fastest footballers would have very close and nearly identical speeds. It would be the same in athletic events like 100M. All should be approaching the upper bound of physical possibility.
Dave
Fabio da Silva is slower than Edwin van der Sar. Okay.
Pilko
Fabio da Silva is slower than Edwin van der Sar. Okay. O'Shea today looked slower than the process of erosion.

In a 100m race they are all running at 100% of their capacity for the whole thing, along the same flat track in the same conditions. Doing something like this across a league of matches throws up so many variables such as: is the player fully fit, the surface and whether they're running up/downhill, is the player running as fast as possible, the weather conditions, etc etc. It's a load of bollocks. No way is Wilshere faster than Walcott, and Danny Guthrie the second fittest player in the league. They've made this report up. It's pie in the sky. Keefaz
Ultimately, it doesn't fucking matter. If you're faster than your opponent over just one yard, you can beat him all day.
Frazzle
Who would you actually say is our fastest, and fittest? Fastest over 100m probably Jose. Fittest Tiote or Jose. Oh, I'm sorry, do you mean fittest in the cardiovascular sense?
Pilko
Who would you actually say is our fastest, and fittest? I'd say our fastest is probably Enrique and our fittest Coloccini. Depends what you deem "fitness" as, though.
