mattypnufc
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nou_Mestalla Never knew Valencia were trying to build a new stadium, and certainly didn't know there's basically been an empty shell of a stadium there for 2 and a half years because they can't afford to finish the job off. Aye. Apparently the contractors that wished to build on the site of the old mestalla pulled out, so Valencia ended up with half a stadium and shit load of debt, hence the Villa sales and pretty much bargain basement hunting. Shame.
Dinho lad
Twitter perv posts naked Prem ace pictures By RICHARD MORIARTY Published: Today Add a comment Add a comment (13) FOOTIE chiefs were last night hunting a mystery Twitter pervert who posted naked photos of Premier League aces. Manchester City stars including England goalie Joe Hart and Wales striker Craig Bellamy were secretly snapped in the dressing room at home and away games. The voyeur then posted the pics on Twitter for millions of fans worldwide to see. The perv claims to have nude pictures of virtually every Premier League player and one post said: "My perfect day was when I seen Joe Hart (right) in the shower for the 1st time." The snapper, who claims to work for Chelsea and TV firm Endemol, even taunts victims via Twitter. Man United's Michael Owen was told: "I had a phone on my chest filming you in the shower." Everton skipper Phil Neville received a tweet saying: "I've seen you naked about 20 times Phil." Man City called in lawyers to get the snaps removed and launched an investigation after being alerted by The Sun. Endemol said it had no information suggesting the perv works for the firm. Chelsea said it was impossible to say if they worked for the club. Police vowed to investigate if any player makes a complaint. Quite an immense structure, could've helped them close the gap on Real and Barca. http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/09ca0Fe0WG0fX/900x.jpg http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=508609&page=

Disco
Didn't realise it was so "built". It's put them back years like in terms of finances and progression. In River Plate news it's been reported in court that the River directors allowed the barra's in to threaten the ref at HT at the weekend. The ref, Pezzotta, claimed it in his report & it's been shown 'if you don't give us a penalty [in 2nd half] you won't leave alive'. No wonder he called it off early when it started kicking off at the end. Rumour is the expected sanction is to close Monumental for 20 home games & an 18 point deduction for 2011-12. Looks like they might be down in the B for more than one campaign if that goes through, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't though.

timeEd32
For American fans, foxsoccer.tv is now $19.99 a month (up from $14.99). They have added picture in picture, live chat, and iPhone and iPad apps free with subscription. They say the increase is because of these enhancements plus changes in the rights fees.
