Cajun
Any worse than appointing Joe Kinnear? Appointing Kinnear was very odd and ridiculous but at least he hadn't already been failing badly here then we offered him a contact I suppose
Yorkie
As if they've given Kean a new contract. They're absolute batshit mentalists. Pretty sure we offered Kinnear a new contract, by the by. At least according to the nutcase himself. Imagine if he'd got the job long-term.

Guest gggg
Michael Woods has retired at 21 having never played a league game. One of the two kids from Leeds Chelsea ended up paying £5m compensation for a couple of years back, the other one's at Carlisle. This is gonna happen alot more with the new rules as Chelsea would have only paid 200k, how this helps kids develop better I don't know.
Sifu
Surely at the age of 21, he can push himself to find another club, be it in the lower divisions?

Sifu
Rovers - No new Kean deal Blackburn deny reports under-fire boss has signed fresh terms Last Updated: November 11, 2011 3:04pm Blackburn have denied reports that manager Steve Kean has signed a new and improved contract with the Premier League strugglers. Rovers are currently in the top-flight relegation zone after a miserable start to the season which has seen them claim just six points from 11 games. Kean, whose appointment as successor to Sam Allardyce in December last year was not met with universal approval, has been under severe scrutiny this season. Ewood Park owners Venky's turned to the 44-year-old after they showed Allardyce the door and have always backed the Scot through some testing times this term. Perilous Protests from sections of the club's supporters have become commonplace at home matches this season, with Rovers having lost five of their six in front of their own fans. Kean insists he is paying no attention to the dissenting voices and has always thanked the supporters who have stuck behind his players during their recent rocky patch. Reports emerged earlier this week that Venky's had handed their boss a new and improved contract despite their perilous position and the off-field unrest. But a Venky's spokesman told the Lancashire Telegraph: "There is no new contract signed yet." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11676/7303927/Rovers-No-new-Kean-deal
Village Idiot
The Spanish FA has commissioned a few paintings to represent Spain's most important goals in all our history. The results are slightly cringe worthy http://estaticos.marca.com/imagenes/2011/11/10/futbol/seleccion/1320941200_extras_mosaico_noticia_5_g_0.jpg Torres against Germany (look at his ankle!) http://estaticos.marca.com/imagenes/2011/11/10/futbol/seleccion/1320941200_extras_mosaico_noticia_1_g_0.jpg 75-year old Iniesta scores against Holland. (those two are actually the best of the lot!)

Beren
Good idea, poorly executed - which isn't something you can usually say for Spanish football lately.

johnnypd
At least they steered away from modern art. if that was done here the results would be like this: Wayne Rooney becomes youngest scorer at Euro 2004: http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/4192/564478693w.jpg The players recall Glenn Hoddle's stirring half time team talk at World Cup 98: http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/5225/564536109.jpg Venables pioneers innovative "christmas tree" formation http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/7479/5645437513.jpg Emile Heskey makes his International Debut against Argentina: http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/346/564528067.jpg
