Wisdom Body
Just read it, not good news since a few months ago it was believed he was healing up well. Keep strong, Abi. Last season I actually saw some Madrid fans on the anti-Barcelona site (you've probably come across it) strongly implying that Abidal's cancer diagnosis was some kind of publicity stunt due to the speed of his apparent recovery or that the diagnosis and short convalescence was evidence of Barça's doping practices. Terrifically pathetic stuff.

oldtype
Park Chu-Young has acquired a 10-year residency permit from the Principality of Monaco, which allows him to delay his military service until the expiry of his reidency provided he does not live or work in the Republic of Korea during that period. All we need to do now is get him the fuck out of Arsenal.

Just to add on to this, the deal Arsenal had with Monaco was apparently a 3m initial fee with an add-on of 9m if Park could at any point get out of his national service. So Arsenal are about to fork up an extra 9 million Euros. For a player who never plays

Hope it's true. Its that Peter Harrison, a former agent of Andy Carroll. https://twitter.com/agentH058 He has been ranting about dodgy dealings involving Allardyce, Gartside and Curtis for a while now on Twitter. Has been saying he is going to tell all for ages but if there is anything to report, he is certainly taking his time over it. Whenever Allardyce or Phil Brown are pundits on TV, it usually starts him off.

Village Idiot
According to one transplant expert they just interviewed in the radio, Abidal is very unlikely to play football again Does he have any specific knowledge of Abidal's case? He said that the problem isn't that he won't make a full recovery, but that the transplanted organ would be vulnerable to trauma, and that he shouldn't participate in a contact sport like football. Superior Acuña
Anyone know what John Fashanu's been saying to be trending on twitter. Something homophobic I gather but can't find owt.
JH
John Fashanu Claims Brother Justin Wasn't Gay - He Just Wanted Attention By Samuel Luckhurst John Fashanu has claimed his brother Justin was not gay. Justin Fashanu, who committed suicide nearly 14 years ago, is the only British footballer to come out as a homosexual. But his brother contested his sexuality in an on-air interview with talkSPORT. John Fashanu said: "I don't believe he was gay. "It's taken [my daughter] a long time to understand that Justin wasn't really gay. He just wanted attention." His brother came out as gay in October 1990 in an exclusive interview with The Sun newspaper. A week later, his brother John agreed to an exclusive with The Voice, which was headlined: "John Fashanu: My Gay Brother is an outcast." He revealed he had disowned his brother, however Fashanu expressed regret at the treatment of Justin after his suicide in 1998. Fashanu's daughter Amal led a BBC documentary called "Britain's Gay Footballers", which aired in January, and was critical of her father's reaction. "It was very upsetting to see the old news reports of my father disowning his own brother," she says. "I was only ten when it happened and my parents wanted to protect me. After my parents split up, I grew up with my mother in Madrid and although I heard things, I never discussed it with my father. "I knew he had not approved of Justin’s lifestyle, but the extent of his disloyalty was a shock," she told The Daily Mail. Amal has since launched the Justin Campaign, which aims to tackle homophobia in football. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2012/03/16/john-fashanu-doesnt-believe-his-brother-justin-was-gay_n_1353917.html
