Village Idiot
So hold on. They are already financially in a mess so they fine them 300k euros and ban them from any european competition for 4 years, which would be the only way they could recoup the money. Meanwhile City, Psg, Chelsea etc are free to go about their business. Pricks. Well, the core idea of FFP is "Don't spend money you don't make", which Málaga effectively have done since they can't pay the footballers they have bought (part of the debt is outstanding transfer fees to other clubs too) in order to achiever their current success. Village Idiot
either way their squads going to get picked apart in the summer Craziest thing is that they are currently running 4th and they almost have enough points to stay up. What are they going to play for the rest of the season?

Disco
Got to agree with the Irishman, never understood fining teams that are already struggling with finances, surely there are other measures they can implement to punish them.

So does the league not generate any cash?
Village Idiot
Yeah, but it's not given out through the table, everybody gets equal share. Anyway it's a very small amount (€660k for each BBVA club and €440k for each in Adelante) since most revenues are managed directly by the clubs or the FA. Surely all this stuff along with TV contracts has to go to what we (England), Italy and Germany have in the future. No wonder why so many Spanish clubs as struggling financially. Nor can the likes of Man City etc are being sponsored by the owners other companies in a way which gives them income without falling foul of FFP but no way would they be given that level of sponsorship by any company if it wasn't owned by their owners/investors etc.

Smal
Arsenal and Barca don't counter much either so there's usually too many defenders to shoot through?
