Woo, a second viewing!

Presenter looked interested.... flipping through the pages of his notes whilst Steve Claridge was talking

Can't blame him, tbh. I tend to tune out when Claridge starts talking.

When he went past a player, i thought "bugger, another Jonas...", but then he shot, and shot well...

also, anyon notice him doing aimless stepovers? loved it!

He's nowt like Jonas - he actually has the ability to retain the ball when he goes past a man.

Surprised he wasn't screaming at Claridge to shut his mouth actually.

He has that effect on most people...

Not as bad as Alan Parry though !

Very true, but interesting nonetheless.

About time we pick up a player for peanuts and other sides are the ones saying "Why didn't we..."

Quick translation via Babel fish (and tidied up by moi) :-

Fabrice Pancrate has very quickly adapted to his new team. The old attacking PSG player, debuting today for Newcastle, took an active part in the victory of his team v. Watford by registering the second goal of the victory (2-0). Magpies are more than ever on the way for a rapid return to the Premier League. With four points clear of the second placed West Bromwich Albion, and ten points on the third, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle sit comfortably.

Another player to add to the growing list of players who have scored more goals for Newcastle than Alan Smith

Wouldn't surprise me to find some players who have never played for NUFC have scored more than Smiffy.
