He was s*** man, a professional footballer who was terrified to have the ball at his feet. Nice lad though.

Hyperbolic.

So s*** he's gonna win a premier league medal. That's one more than Stevie G

Mind having said that, I remember Gary Neville once outscoring Alan Shearer to win the golden boot like...

It's proper hindsight bias this like

All of our players now are apparently shit cowardly cunts (not far off) yet Danny Simpson was hard done to because he's about to win a league title, despite being a shit cowardly cunt in a side as poor as this when every was calling him a shit cowardly cunt.

He wasn't as bad as you're now making out, he was just an easy target while here because he thought that he was better than he was.

He's pretty s***, as is Wes Morgan and most of the other players they have.

They're an incredible team with a few very good players.

Put Wes Morgan in our back four and he'd be a donkey.

Do you know anything about football? Of course Morgan would improve our central defense as would Huth.

He's a capable enough defender to play in a well organised side and carry out his job effectively. Playing behind Mahrez and having Kante/Drinkwater to cover him also means he never gets exposed. And he doesn't get forward much as Huth and Morgan have no pace and need someone on the cover.

Basically Leicester are just an incredible team.

He's not a good player, never will be. But in football you need about 7 solid players and 4 on top who can win you the game, as long as you're well drilled. Leicester are proof and we're a classic example of what happens otherwise.

Yes this is pretty much well summed up. Also a defender needs to be able to defend first and foremost as part of the team framework. Simpson has done this with a humble club which has a great team spirit, and he is part of that. Janmaat is the exact opposite. No surprise really considering his national team are also a bunch of underachieving prima donnas.

Aye.  Ian W doesn't like his defenders to be a good at things like defending. Heading the ball is uncouth.
