Report: New kit deal agreed with Puma

Recommended Posts

if we had released the barcode efort for the first time, during the era of internet and message boards as it is today, i think newcastle-online would have went into melt down, and some people would actually of hanged themselves.

I said it was historic for us, it represented something in our promorion.

I actually think the best two kits we have had are the black n white asics and the first one by adidas.

I liked the Asics one, but I think the first Adidas kits are beauties. Especially the away one. The Asics one was only awesome because of the blue star, really.

oh yeah the purple hooped grandad, kwality...both great strips actually

PUMA should have just made an identical version, they'd have cleaned up

bloody black patch behind the sponsor!!!!

i remember the blue star with the bar behind that the supporters shop were selling to cover the 'greenalls' after the sponsor change.

as a side note, does anyone know where i can get a white greenalls patch like this one? i've got the shirt but it's got a burn hole and the sponsor bar would cover that nicely

I liked the cheese and onion square crisps one. Similar to that one. 92-93 I think.

i would try taking the image of the sponsor to a printers such as florida print, that specialise in t-shirt printing.... they could accurately replicate the sponsor, hopefully.

30 quid or summik

Well that's not bad. There's no way they should ever be more than £25-30 quid. Generic shirts on the respective brands websits typically cost around a tenner, and presumably they're still making a healthy profit. Ok ad a few quid for club badge and sponsor, double it and I bet you'd still have change out of £30 notes.

£12 delivery to Northern Ireland ffs  You know what the biggest joke of that is, the last time i bought a shirt off them it took a month to get here, nice to see the £12 means prompt delivery...

Will they not be available in sports shops anyway? They must have Charver Direct over there, surely.
