Geordie Ahmed
No fan of his, think he is a shocking footballer BUT thought it was disgraceful the way the crowd got on his back. The lad struggles on the ball at the best of times so why the f*** would you want to crank up the pressure on him? We really shouldn't be saying this about a Premiership footballer. I agree, do not rate him and the sooner he is pushed down the pecking order the better
Dokko
He really needs our vocal support through the crisis of confidence, he's nowhere near as bad as he's playing. I also think Taylors superb form and the clubs points haul without him heaped a hell of a lot of pressure on him to perform just coming back very quickly from injury. We should have bought a cb in the window, poor decision by the board not to invest in this position.
Guest palnese
he couldn't even get a game at portsmouth.

Ronaldo
Today highlighted the reasons we can't play it out from the back.
durhamunigeordie
On current form he is easily one of the worst CB's in the league.
Jagten
Today highlighted the reasons we can't play it out from the back. Yes, i agree. Lets just panic, run around in circles, ultimately losing the ball.
gazza ladra
Not the caliber player needed to push for Europe. When Taylor went down, the club was in a position where Champions League football was not out of question. (Always a long shot, but how often are you going to get an opportunity like that?) Poor decision to go into the second half of the season without signing a decent CB. An opportunity missed. Penny-wise, pound-foolish. etc.

morpeth mag
Is weak on the ball at the best of times but has totally lost his confidence. Not helped by Simpson IMO who never makes himself available.

Jagten
Hmm, yes. On reflection i dont really understand it either.
Ronaldo
When did I imply that? We don't have the players for long ball or carpet football, frankly.
Pilko
Whilst he's in horrendous form at the moment, I think he'd not look half as bad (with the ball) if Danny Simpson showed for the ball once in a while.

JH
He was pretty much fucked after that incident in the first half when the entire stadium was up in anger at him. He's been very poor, but the 'support' he got today was horrendous. No wonder he shit himself on the ball.
The College Dropout
He was pretty much f***ed after that incident in the first half when the entire stadium was up in anger at him. Frazzle
People we having at go at him today before even making a mistake a points. If you're going to moan (don't anyway) at least wait until someone has actually made a mistake. Pathetic 'support' today.
Ronaldo
I don't condone what he got from the crowd, but it was inevitable given his shambolic displays since the Brighton game.
Wullie
The next time he received the ball after that, people were up having a go at him. Absolutely ridiculous. Just as ridiculous is the suggestion though that he is the main person stopping us passing the ball. The midfield don't support the attack, don't move into space to receive the ball and don't get into the box. What the fuck has any of that got to do with Mike Williamson? Skirge
He created a huge panic in the crowd in the 1st half and that reaction caused a bit of a unsheltered period in our play but we did finish half well. He is a worry and the fans reaction is only making it worse, we need to try and give him more confidence not suck the little he has left out of him.
