colinmk
Bidding 'war'. Leicester winning. £2.7m Really? If we get £3 million for him not signing N'Zogbia becomes even more silly IMO. It's ok, punk77 informed me that insomnia is realistically available for between 4-5m.

It's an aspirational target tbh. Anything over £2m would be pretty good.

jdckelly
£1.5m is pitiful given his Championship credentials. Shame. its roughly what he's gone for from almost everywhere else

Shame. its roughly what he's gone for from almost everywhere else Didn't someone recently move from one Championship club to another for £5m or something pisstaking ridiculous? Or am I imagining that? If I'm not, then £1.5m is fucking peanuts for someone whom you know will produce for you as a promotion chasing team.

Ketsbaia
Sounds like Leicester are there to be milked. And if theres loads of others after him, I can see us getting £2.5m for him.

toontownman
Think we should get more than 1.5m for him, granted thats pretty much how much he has cost int he past, as mentioned, but his performances and stats in the championship over the past two years are more than decent, match winning tbh. Match winners should command a decent fee, he has years left in the tank too, not to mention the last two clubs he has been with have been promoted (forget the rest). LRD
Definitely should get more from this transfer. While he's turd in the Premier League, I think Championship clubs have come to realise he's one of the best players at their level after playing a massive role in getting us and then QPR promoted. Having him can only be a huge boost to reach the promised land where the big money is so something like a 2, 3m layout pales in comparison. What probably hiked up the interest this year is the number of teams chasing promotion this season. Which can only be good for us. 'Worst case senario' for the purchasing club - sell him off to a Championship club after they get promoted. Even if they make a loss, it wouldn't be too big. Difference is though, they'll have signed Mills hoping that if they come up, he can be first-choice centre-back and step up a level, with Routledge though, you know that's not going to happen. £1.5-2m is about right because any top Championship can pay that for him when the first club gets promoted and look to sell.
