Guest
So far this season, we have Nolan on 11, Shola, Carroll & Lovenkrands on 8, and we might as well throw in Best with his 9 goals at Coventry just to make it more interesting, but who do you reckon will finish with the most? I'm going with Best, to finish on 17.

High Five o
Mcloven with
Pilko
It'll be Loven.
ponsaelius
If Lovenkrands had played as many games upfront as he should have, he'd be well clear. Now I think Hughton is beginning to realise his value to the team more he'll finish as our top scorer.
huss9
hopefully will get him to the world cup
David28
hopefully will get him to the world cup He will damage his crucial ligament in the 3rd minute in the last match of the group stages.
hakka
McLoven for me. He's got the best movement and finishing ability.
Thespence
If Lovenkrands had played as many games upfront as he should have, he'd be well clear. Had the summer off, no pre-season games all he had was bit of training with Rangers. He needed to be phased in, admit tingly it could of been slightly quicker & he is also held back because CH has him marked down as a home player as he has only started 2 away league games & he did not play to the end in either of them. GuyP
Lov will get to around 18 goals i think, i can see another hat trick and a hellish run of form near the end of the season...his pace and finishing can rape some of the defences we play near the end of the season. STM
I went for Carroll based on the fact i think hughton will pick him over all the others. Doesn't mean i think he will score many either. Maybe 14 or so.
ben-nufc
carrol because he will play more and i think mcloven is seen as more of an impact player by hughton. carrol 16 mcloven 14 nolan 14 ameobi 13 best
macca888
Ameobi and Lovenkrands - 15 goals each
mattynufc
Carroll on 19. Very suprised not many have put Nolan close, he has 11 already, and people reckon our op scorer will get 16ish, I can easily see Nolan scoring over 5 by end of the season to be honest. Ronaldo
19 for Carroll? It'll probably be Shola on 16.
mattynufc
19 for Carroll? It'll probably be Shola on 16. Seems to now be first choice to some extent, we have a player on each wing now - suits Carroll perfect to be honest.
Ronaldo
He's not going to get another 11 goals though.
mattynufc
18 games left, it is fully possible. Fair enough, I do rate Carroll, so maybe drop it to 17, still think he will finish top scorer.

JH
I'll go for Lovenkrands. I reckon Nolan will only score a couple more at the most, Shola won't get many, Carroll will be here and there and Best will net no more than Harewood did.
TRon
19 for Carroll? It'll probably be Shola on 16. Shola is never fit for any sustained length of time so I wouldn't put too much money on him being top scorer. I don't know if Carroll can keep getting goals regularly either so I'd probably go with Loven even though he's not going to get picked regularly. ChrisMcQuillan
He's not going to get another 11 goals though. He could easily have had 4 against Cardiff alone.
