Guest jonlane86
I still hope and pray that one day we'll end up with Chris Samba that would be awesome, but think he might cost too much
johnnypd
Collison looks good to me. probably go to a big side, has the ability for it. if we're in with a shout i'd love for us to get him.

oldtype
It feels surreal to me that this might already be an 'unrealistic' signing, but.. Lee Chung-Yong
Neil
Get yourselves Seamus Coleman on loan, as I have a horrible feeling Moyes isn't going to give him much of a chance next year. Yes, he's developing Rodwell and Gosling brilliantly atm but Coleman.... RB.... Neville! He's undroppable, unfortunately. I'd love to be wrong. He was given a few games around the middle of the season, perhaps most notably he was introduced when we were 2-0 down at home to Spurs with 20 minutes to go. He came on and ripped Gareth Bale a new one and we drew 2-2. Also came on against Carlisle when we were struggling, within a few minutes he created a goal for Cahill. Already got 4 assists for Blackpool in a few games on loan there I believe. Got a very big future, I think, but next year is a big year and he needs to be playing PL football. oldtype
RB is certainly a priority... I think out of our current XI Simpson is the one I have the least faith in to make the step up. Possibly even moreso than Kevin Nolan (gasp)
LooneyToonArmy
£3m for a player like Taarabt would be good business. Wonder how 2 Tottenham rejects would fair in our lineup in O`hara and Taraabt Good player like but doesn`t want to play in England after this season has ended apparently ,as he said his style of play is not suited to the English game. Fried Chicken
Jamie O'Hara would be a good buy, the only stumbling block would be getting his attention whore of a fiance/wife to move away from LDN
Guest Stephen927
Off the potentially relegated sides I'd look at: Eagles for cover/competition on the wings. Diamanti. Behrami. Belhadj. KP Boateng. Bikey. Pompey have recieved a £4.5m bid for Belhadj from CSKA and a £5m offer for Boateng from Sevilla according to their administrator.
LooneyToonArmy
Skysports.com understands Newcastle are one of a number of clubs tracking Swindon hot-shot Charlie Austin. Austin has been a revelation for Swindon since being snapped up from non-league Poole Town last October. The 20-year-old has scored a staggering 16 goals in 22 starts for Swindon and is regarded as one of the best young talents in the country. Austin's goalscoring exploits are understood to have caught the attention of a host of clubs higher up the football pyramid. Newcastle are believed to have watched Austin in action on a number of occasions this season, with Premier league Tottenham and Fulham also keeping tabs on the forward's progress. Championship promotion hopefuls Newcastle are understood to have watched Austin in action at the weekend against Hartlepool, with assistant boss Colin Calderwood an interested observer at Victoria Park. Swindon are keen to keep Austin as they battle for promotion from League One, with the prolific striker being rewarded with a new two-and-a-half year deal in February for his progress. David28
Kevin Kuranyi - free agent this summer There are quite many good free agents this summer (if they stay free agents and won't sign a new contract) Cacau (Stuttgart), Hamit Altintop (Bayern), Paulo Guerrero (Hamburg) Joe Cole (we wouldn't get him though), Mortem Gamst Pedersen, Philippe Senderos Don't know if players like Senderos for example are in our reach for next season to buy, though. KaKa
Hamburg's Guerrero is a free agent? He would be a good shout I reckon. Just turned 26 this year too. Ask Nobby to have a word.
johnnypd
Guerrero would be an amazing signing, especially on a free. Cacau looked very good vs barcelona if im thinking of the right bloke, and is just the sort of pacey striker we'll need next season.
KaKa
Just been looking over this summers free agent list again and there really are some really good, solid and realistic players that would suit us quite nicely going back into the premier league (fingers crossed). Hope we are really aggressive with this once promotion is hopefully secured. The earlier we can achieve this the better really.
David28
Only problem with Guerreo is that he has fear of flying. But as we won't have european campaign in the very near future it shouldn't be that big problem.

Cacau looked very good vs barcelona if im thinking of the right bloke, and is just the sort of pacey striker we'll need next season. Always really liked him even as a youngster at Bayern. Think he would suit the prem too. Good, physical and committed player who could hopefully get around 12 - 15 in the prem and continue to get better as still 26. Wage demands shouldn't be crazy either. Good looking fit for us I reckon. Had no idea he was on a free.
