Roy Hodgson appointed new England manager

Stupid decision by the FA and stupid decision by woy to take it, it'll only end in one way, disaster.

Same people who are behind him getting this job on here, are the same people who posted and or laughed at the plethora of gifs of him having a mental breakdown on the Liverpool touchline when it all went wrong, those same people will be there on queue to laugh when the same happens with England.

Think you're be unnecessarily over the top. People laughed at Roy because his touchline stuff was plain funny, everyone still liked him. Most people on here think England are shite because the players are lacking in motivation and are actually not as good as the top teams. I certainly won't be laughing at Hodgson if it all goes wrong because the guy is actually a very good manager

Aye, that had to be the most idiotic question to ask.

Aye, getting fucking annoyed with the media already. Roy's been chosen and most of the country seem reasonably content with the decision, so how hard is it to just get behind him and hope for the best in the summer?

Instead, they continue to wank over testicle-features and are circling like perverted little vultures waiting for the first sign of a mistake. Hope he proves all the slimy little bastards wrong and does a good job in the Euros, for his sake.

:undecided:

The stupidity of some journalists. A few of the papers have ran polls on whether or not Hodgson was the right man for the job, with every one of them saying yes, yet they're adamant Redknapp is the people's choice.

The footballing oracle that is Merson had his say too, claiming "LITERALLY everyone in England wanted Redknapp as the manager"

Not wishing to re-open old wounds, but a very large number of people wanted Keegan as England manager at the time he was appointed. It means nothing.

at first i thought redknapp not getting it would be brilliant but now its actually going to be worse because he's media chums will be making out that he was robbed and was the "people's choice" and that if he was manager we "wud av won it" Meanwhile harry sucks off daniel levy to keep his tottenham job and then sits back and lets this ridiculous aura around him grow larger.

Still makes me laugh though the way he belittled pardew and co when asked about people in the running for the england job. He was so sure he was going to get it :D

Good luck to him, would love it if he did well. Lot of pressure though & he'll have to fight off some peoples preconceptions Pardew style to avoid many getting bored of him quite quickly.

You sure that wasn't Jamie Redknapp?

'Arry would have gone to South Africa in the 70s and ended apartheid single-handedly if 'er indoor was willing to move from the south coast.
